We start with a comprehensive project management plan tracking 600+ permits (federal, state and local), studies and tasks with clear scopes, owners and deliverables to take your project from a piece of dirt to NTP, giving you a clear map of how you'll get there. Phase gates that block advancement until prior-phase deliverables are complete. This is liability-prevention architecture, not your classic project management.

Data Room Answers Before They Ask
Through this plan, we produce and maintain a structured data room containing 140+ documents per project, organized specifically to answer the questions lenders, tax equity partners, and independent engineers will ask during due diligence. Permits. Engineering studies. Safety analyses. Everything is there. This is investor-grade project finance due diligence, answered before the question is asked.

Visibility Into Every Task and Every Dollar
Real-time dashboards with full visibility at the project and portfolio level. Nothing advances to the next phase without a gate review. Carina Beacon can be delivered as a standalone solution that your team manages or as a managed service where that our team operates the system day to day while your team operates the projects and lead the deveopment.
Level 1
Project plans, scopes of work, and dashboards. Produced and maintained.
For each Carina-Managed engagement, our team produces a complete controls package or work from your existing files. The BESS Work Breakdown Structure instantiated as a project plan. Detailed scopes of work for every consultant and vendor, tied to specific WBS line items, with deliverables, phase gates, and budget limits. Gantt charts with predecessor logic, critical path, and milestone gates. Dashboards at the project level and the portfolio level, accessible to your team in real time.
Level 2
A PMP-certified Controller, deployed into the project communication flow.
The Controller extracts schedule-impacting commitments from meetings, emails, and vendor updates and translates them into WBS task updates. The schedule stays current without the development team having to maintain it. The Controller is not a note-taker, a meeting summarizer, or a virtual assistant. The Controller maintains the schedule.
Level 3
Block-rate advisory access to Carina’s senior technical specialists.
Our BESS Owner’s Engineer, Grid and Interconnection Manager, AHJ Specialists, Fire Protection Engineer, and Civil Engineer are available on a block-rate basis for advisory work. Technical questions, scope review, specification critique, sanity-checking an OEM proposal, or a second opinion on a vendor recommendation.
